- Built in 1932 and named in honor of Henry M. Robinson, Caltech trustee from 1907 to 1937. The observation dome on the roof is a 1:10 scale model of the dome of the Palomar Observatory. The cast-stone sun below honors the work of George Ellery Hale in solar astronomy.
