- In an unusual summer session in 1941, Prof. Clark Millikan gave a full-time course to 26 civilians and 108 ensigns in the U. S. Naval Reserve. Here they are assembled to receive their completion certificates in the Engineering Defense Training Course in Aeronautical Engineering. Caltech and World War II.
